Welcome to my BRAND NEW blog! I've just started it today, and as readers may be able to tell, I'm not much of a techie! It's all good though - and I plan to include some helpful posts on the jewelry-making process, among other ditties that I think others might enjoy or find helpful.
My primary focus these days, beyond family and my part time "day job", is designing and creating my handmade jewelry. I love seeing how a few components, particularly a few inches of sterling wire, can come together to create a thing of real beauty.
Most of my jewelry is currently listed in my Etsy shop (http://www.peartreejewelry.com/), with some items over at Zibbet. (www.zibbet.com/peartreejewelry) I've been dong the "online" thing, but just as I do, many customers prefer to pick up a piece, hold it, feel its weight and quality. So this fall, I have decided to start doing craft shows again - afer over a decade! I'm sure there will be a few crazy stories to tell!
I am excited to have launched this new blog - should be a fun new endeavor!
